Fatehgarh Fort in Udaipur is a little far from the city and on top of the hill from where you get a picturesque view of the city and lake.
FatehGarh Palace is a property that has been build recently unlike the other forts of the city. But it does not makes it less attractive as it may sound. It one of the best locations for destination wedding if you are planning a destination wedding in Udaipur.
The entire property is built in such a way that it has an old-world charm and a true feel of a heritage hotel.
Edna and Jurgen from Austria had planned their destination wedding at FatehGarh Fort Udaipur, with a blend of some Indian tradition and vows in western style.
They had typical mehndi evening followed by a sangeet where local Rajasthani folk dancers performed. The wedding had a Jurgen making an entry on an elephant with an Austrian baraat wearing Indian pagaris ( turbans ).
The entire garden on the poolside was ready and decorated with the yellow-white color theme. Earlier in the morning, the entire Fatehgarh Fort gave us ample locations to do the couple shots to add another dimension to the wedding.
Here is a tip, if you are having a Udaipur destination wedding, make sure you spend some time with your photographer for some lovely couple shots. If you don’t, I can bet you will regret it later.
