Say “Yes” to Designer Wedding Lehengas That Don’t Break The Bank
I have been to so many weddings now that I can’t count. 100-200, not really sure. But what I can say with surety is that every bride that I have met has this desire to look like a dream on her wedding day.
A Wedding lehenga is one thing that she carefully selects right from colors, embroidery, and silhouette to who to get it from exactly.
Wearing a Manish Malhotra or Sabyasachi does not fit everyone’s budget but if you look closely, you will see that there are so many talented, upcoming names that are pocket friendly but at the same time can make you look like a princess. The dream does not have to end just because your pocket says so.
Hey, but affordable does not mean 20K .. Just kidding?
I am listing down a few very talented designers who have enthralled many brides without a fat price tag.
Abhinav Mishra
If you are looking for a modern take on traditional fabrics but still have that ethereal look and fine embroidery, he is the one for you. Sequins, zari, gotta Patti on unconventional colors, is a combination hard to beat. The lehengas are not very heavy so can be a good pick for pre-wedding occasions.

Jayanti Reddy
A very promising designer who uses fabrics like banarasi weaves, and rich colors; the result is stunning, elegant wedding lehengas that make you look every bit royal. She has some really cool outfits to suit different styling requirements. Despite the rich colors and fabrics, the outfits have a contemporary touch to them. Effortless luxury is how I would put it.

Megha and Jigar
What stands out in the creations of this designer duo is the heavy use of traditional embroidery and artistry without making the pieces look garish. Rather, the outfits look so perfect for the women of today. The cuts are clever; the silhouettes are modern. Sophistication defines their work.
